Honestly, I'm glad. They tried to pin this all on Obama and he had little to do with it. Rather, its the fault of the folks who say "my way or the highway" that have gotten the country so effed up.

Yes, we are in the Pacific Northwest. We got up at 2 am and looked in the right direction and saw a handful before succumbing again to sleep. Very cool.

Portland, Or. here. We have gentle summers but we pay for it with nine months of rain, no kidding. Today is a balmy 72 degrees. I call it "living life at room temperature." You all with the heat, do be careful.

I volunteer at the kid's schools. I'm a master Gardener and help with public gardens around town and I plant trees with a nature conservancy group. Go me.

I couldn't stand the book. I thought it was hugely whiny. I had no respect at all for the main character. Sigh, I am a Julia Roberts fan. That woman can really act. I may have to see the movie just for her.
