Just attempted to register 3 books by ISBN, title and author using Google and Amazon. No luck with any of them. As noted by others, registering manually is really not a satisfactory alternative due to the additional time…

Yep that was an option but, as I also mentioned before, registering books other people have left was just more work than I was prepared to do. Anyway it's good to hear how other OBCZ owners run their libraries.

I only register books I've added to the library myself. I don't register books left by visitors because of the time involved and also because I don't want to risk discouraging people from leaving books. What do others do…

Our street library in Waramanga is an OBCZ. I register most of the books I leave there. Can't say it's made a big difference but it can't hurt.
