I would prefer not to stay in KC proper. But that is my problem. My ol' man and I will be glad to make the trip by bike. So we will be looking for cycle frindly places.
My preference would be Olathe.

we need a primitive head count. I usually don't tell them the group name, just how many people and how many tents. The reservation for the site will be made 3 weeks before the camp out.

according to mapquest it is 180.58 miles, 3 hours, 35 minutes. Marina is driving 12 hours and I will be driving 7 hours, 21 minutes. Not sure how far alrescate will be driving. {those are the confirms so far} :D

In may of 2008 everyone will have to have a real ID card to do anything. But I haven't heard of a passport between States, not yet anyway.
