I just couldn't finish this - it was too distressing - what sort of a life is that? Sorry couldn't continue to the end , it was too sad. I prefer to read books for enjoyment not traumatic challenge.

You would definitely need a bus or a taxi but hope you can get there. there are nice shops to browse on Whiteladies Road as well!

Have just finished this, brilliant. I can't believe that i left it so late in my life to read, but then suppose you can't read everything at once! After a bit of a slow start its virtually unputdownable.
