After taking a BC break, I registered three books in May -- no problem with the database search then. This week I have registered three books and the search did not work at all. I entered them manually but did not bother…

I've been on BC since April 2003, and I must say that the Internet has changed over those 14 years. It's really difficult to escape the Facebook juggernaut. Practically all the mailing lists I was on in the 2000s have mi…

I love releasing books in the LFL near my home (which technically is in the next town over, but it's on my way home). I don't worry about the book getting rained on, or thrown in the trash. I haven't scored a catch yet, …

Please PM me with your information so that I could send you some Media Mail postage. I could take a box of about 30, I think. Maybe I'll even read some of them -- what a concept! *grin*

Yeah, I know that that's a really small number compared with most of you here, but I'm so swamped with books I'd registered *before* the challenge that I didn't want to acquire a whole bunch more just for the challenge.

My friends lost two of their beloved elderly pets just last month (one dog in California, one cat in New Jersey). It is truly sad. You and your family have my sympathy and hugs.
