It isn't a very realistic fear. I have a lot to read. However, I never really worry too much about the time. I generally think that if I don't have enough time now; I will eventually.

I like going to Goodwill or sometimes Ebay. If it is something that I really can't wait to read, then, I prefer to shop online at Amazon.

If they wanted to give you a "slap in the face" they just wouldn't have given a gift at all. It's hard to say for sure with out knowing the person, but why would someone spend money if they meant to insult you?

I also recieved a book called "Bad Dog" it's more of a coffee table type of book. However, another gift was an Amazon gift certificate which will probably also be used (at least in part) to buy some books.
