As an enthusiasted church history lover I can nothing but agree. I've tried to avoid all possible contacts to the book but seen the film, though. It might have been good entertainment but the "facts" made me nearly laugh…

I've tried to make friends with that book - at least it sounds exactly like a book I love - but haven't made it yet... The beginning was pretty good and I was almost excited but when Pi got to the boat it all went boring…
