BookCrossing to help Canadian Soldiers

January 18, 2005
Inspired by a forum thread on sending books to American soldiers,
BookCrossing military wife href="http://www.bookcrossing.com/mybookshelf/stickerooni">stickerooni has located an organization on all Canadian bases called the
Military Family Resource Centre (MFRC) to help distribute books to Canadian
soldiers. Simply bring packaged books to the MFRC, and staff will ship
them for FREE to deployed military members. Stickerooni contributed some
books a few months ago, and a military member with the 8 Air Communication
and Control Squadron (8ACCS) National Rear Link Team deployed on OP HALO,
National Support Element, Task Force Haiti, has journaled on five of them
already! Stickerooni, congratulations, on your great catches, and we thank
you for helping the BookCrossing Community find one more way to support the
troops and spread the word.
