Extended Profile
My name is Karen and I live Gilroy (The Garlic Capitol of the world!) but work in San Jose. I have two cats. Marius is a 6 yr old all white DSH male cat with green eyes(seen in my profile pic) and Scooter is a 6 yr old DSH tux kitty with yellow eyes. I
work for an e-services company called Sand Hill Systems where I create/maintain the company inter/intranets, sales collateral and documents. I also train customers on how to use our products. If you look closely at the changing banner at the top of our website,
you might see me! :-) http://www.sandhillsystems.com.
I am a strong believer in animal rights and rescue and rehabilitation. I worked with wolves in college and loved it. They are such wonderful and magnificent, yet misunderstood animals. A true animal-lover, I can't turn away a needy face. Working in animal rescue and rehabilitation in my free time is my way of giving back to the community.
I am also active in yoga and am involved with a local group that strives to spread the awareness of what yoga is really about aside from the asanas, but rather the whole ancient Indian philosophy of yogic life.
Of course, I am a book nut, which leads me here....:-)
