Extended Profile
Nothing beats reading a good book with the sound of the pouring rain in the background. I love reading, the color yellow, thunderstorms, and waterfalls. I reread The Secret Garden at least once every year. I'm probably one of the last people on the planet
who hasn't finished reading the Harry Potter books, but I intend to finish the last two shortly. Although I'll read anything I can get my hands on, I'm most passionate about collections of poetry. However, these also take me the longest to read because I don't
like to race through reading a bunch of poems all at once. When that happens, I think you risk missing some of the hidden meanings the poet was trying to get across.
I've been dormant on here for quite some time, and aim to get much more active again.

I am continuing my A-Z Author Challenge from 2005. Although I did not finish it in one year, the idea still thrills me, so I'm going to continue plugging away at my list. I am reading one author for each letter of the alphabet whom I've never read before. And I'm doing my best to read them in order. My list is not yet complete, but I have enough to start off the alphabet that I have time to find the missing books. If anyone has suggestions, by all means, please send me a PM:

As if I didn't have enough to keep me busy, I've now also joined the 2006 "Never Judge a Book By it's Cover" challenge. I've done reading challenges before, but no release challenges, so this should be interesting and fun (fingers crossed).

As if I didn't have enough to do, I have also started a little personal reading challenge to help me get through 100 books this year. For each month of the year, I'm going to try to read a book that has the name of that month somewhere in the title. After I read the book, I'll be wild releasing it (in the same month). If anybody has suggestions for particular months, I'm all ears.
