I am new to this hobby. Most of the fun so far has been the in-person get-togethers where book experiences are shared. I often think I have more books than I should, but I don't like simply throwing them out. This way I at least have a (possibly)
continuing relationship with a book that has crossed my path.
Any bookcrossers willing to pick it up at my monthly meetup are welcome to let me know if there's a book that is eluding them -- I'll try to keep an eye out at the used bookstores and pick it up if the price is within a few bucks. Not sure how practical this offer is, but the local chapter is still pretty small. Not making any promises, but I'll try, given time and resources.
I wish there were a way to make general journal entries about books being read or looked for.
