Extended Profile
HERE'S WHO I AM...
I'm a professional copywriter who loves to read mysteries, biographies, animal behavior books, essays, and short stories, in particular, and just about anything that catches my eye, in general. My bookshelf will attest to my eclectic tastes. I have been "releasing" books for years, on trains and planes, busses and benches, at the doctor's office and the local coffeeshop...all without labels to track them. I think the tracking idea is an outstanding addition to the concept.
I am also a Friends of the Library (FOL) book sale fanatic -- having once walked in to the sale, asked, "Where are the mysteries?" and promptly purchased the entire table's worth -- 145 books in one fell swoop! Every single one was read and released, although that was long before bookcrossing.com was born.
