I am a homeschool mother of 2 and we enjoy books (of course). I love books so much that I had to open a bookstore to help me manage my habit of buying and selling books as I used them. (Come visit us at http://www.thebookhabit.com. This became a profitable pasttime and according to CA state laws I needed to become official. The only reason I started buying my own books to begin with was because the local library is small and the titles I was looking for are never found there and interlibrary loan takes time and costs money. I much prefer having the books on my shelves with no pressure of returning them or crying over saying goodbye to these new and old friends (yes, books).

When we're not reading or playing together, we're out studying nature, another favorite pasttime.

I am writing this profile, and thinking, I don't quite understand this whole bookcrossing thing, but this seems to be the first step. I'll probably have to edit this later....
