Extended Profile
Hello all, bonjour,
I am NOT FRENCH. Mais je parle français donc vous pouvez m'écrire en français bien sûr. :)
I'll start with some information about my books, that's why we are here after all...
For easier browsing, all English titles begin with an E and all French titles with an F, PC obviously means "permanent collection". Sometimes I trade PC books... depending on what you have in exchange... ;)
90% of the books listed here are available for TRADE or RABCK. Generally i prefer trades, however, this doesn't mean that i am not generous. :) It's just that I like to have new books, too.
If you want several of my books, do not hesitate to ask, we can arrange a 2000 G TRADE (2000 grammes being the upper limit for a resonably-priced parcel here in France). Note please that obviously this can only work if YOU HAVE GOOD ENGLISH BOOKS to trade!
Whether a book is a RABCK or not is UP TO ME to decide. Please do not send PMs asking for a RABCK, respect the fact that i have paid for the books i have. I only like to send RABCKs to people who don't ask for it.
I don't have a WISHLIST but i do have authors and genres that I like:
I am a great fan of SYLVIA PLATH, and would give almost any book of my collection for the UNABRIDGED JOURNALS. If you have any books or collections by or about Sylvia Plath, i am more than ready to trade with you.
I like contemporary US literature, especially poetry and fiction, and I like lesbian books and artists' biographies.
I prefer serious books that make me think to light ones that make me laugh. (Both at the same time, if possible.)
I enjoy a dramatical story a lot more than a sentimental one and i don't like violence.
Despite the fact that I do have these books on my shelf, I don't like and will not trade for any pulp fiction, erotica, science fiction or any crap book. (I made a distinction between "pulp, sci-fi, erotica" and "crap books" because i am sure there are very good pulp, sci-fi books or erotica, it's just that I don't like it.)
I think that's about it, otherwise i am soon 23, i live with my GF in the north of France, i am a graphic designer, i like beaches and the sea, i like flying my kite, i like to eat good fish and drink good wine, i like writing short stories and poetry, i paint quite a lot recently...
