Extended Profile
I have friends who read but nothing like I do. They don't keep a book in their purse to read while in the drive thru at McDonald's and the bank. They don't read in the bathtub. They don't drag themselves to work blurry eyed because they just had to finish
whatever they were reading the night before. They don't get withdrawal if they can't make it to the bookstore at least once a week. They don't have towering stacks of unread books that are waiting for "just enough time" or "just the right mood for that author".
They don't plan the books that go on vacation with them as carefully as they plan what clothes they are going to wear or what tourist attractions they will visit. They don't know the sheer joy of a book you've been waiting to come out to hit the bookstore
and making the effort to be there the first day it's on sale. Even if you don't immediately read it, you know it's there to read.
