Extended Profile
Bookcrossing is a fabulous idea. When I retire I hope to do some volunteer work with adult literacy. I have an emotionally demanding job. Books are my special spot for "downtime". I've also recently taken up hand drumming (Can I say I get a bang out of
that!). And I do a lot of trail walking with my dog..hence the screen-name.
I've been a bookcrosser for about three years now. Met some very nice people. Got a lot of great tips on good reads I never would have found on my own. What a treat to come out once a month to a room full of folks with a excitement for reading!! I only wish my catch rate was any good. My released books seem to fall off the face of the earth. I'm still working on the release for success learning curve under the tutelage of N8an our Meet-up former host. He's a star!! If your second Tuesday of the month is a little blah, you should come on over to meet us. Schnauzer
