Extended Profile
♣Hi, I'm Eileen. I'm not your typical teenager. For one thing, I like to read. I'm very picky about the books I choose to read, but I couldn't tell you exactly what it is I look for in a book. Quality writing is probably the first thing. I'm a grammar
freak, and I get annoyed easily by dull stuff and/or underdeveloped characters or storyline. I am very involved in choir and the theater in and outside of school, I'm also the editor of the school lit-mag this semester. I tried sports, and found that I'm really
not very coordinated. I can't run, I can't dance, but I could walk forever. I can't serve a volleyball, I can't score over 30 bowling, but I love to ski in Colorado, and get to about once every three years. I live in an old house with both of my parents, a
little brother, and three pets.
I haven't been by bookcrossing in a while, so I guess I'll have to get back into it...but basically I'm registering the 30+ books that for some reason, I have been keeping forever, and releasing them, over a period of time long enough to accumulate more books to release. I have no car - so most places books are released will be no more than two miles away from my house. That is, of course, unless I have mom release some books for me. No one has journaled any of my wild releases yet, but it always fun to hope for a first.
Also, if a book is marked 'available', as most are, please feel free to request it!
Happy reading,
Eileen:)
