Hi, I am married and I have 5 children ranging in age from 29 to 13 and a daft dog called Sophie. I love reading and will read anything and everything from dictionaries to cornflake packets. I am a freelance proofreader and copy editor (looking for commissions), and presently have a summer job selling ice cream. My husband is a stonemason and is mad about railways and steam engines.
I have lots of books, on many subjects, some of which I am willing to share with others and will offer them on my bookshelf, so keep checking to see if I have anything you might wish to trade. I especially like to read biographies and factual books.

I'd like to say thank you to all who have sent books to me, whether as RABCKs, trades or bookrings/rays. I look forward to the postman coming each day, wondering if he has a parcel for me!

You are a GRAMMAR GOD!

Congratulations! If your mission in life
is not already to preserve the English tongue,
it should be. You can smell a grammatical
inaccuracy from fifty yards. Your speech is
revered by the underlings, though some may
blaspheme and call you a snob. They're just
jealous. Go out there and change the world.

How grammatically correct are you? (Revised with answer key)

Only problem with this counter is it's making me look more popular than I am by counting every time I log on to my own bookshelf!
