Extended Profile
HI everyone! i am a circulation clerk at a small public library and i LOVE books. My preference is non-fiction (science, religion, ancient history, paranormal, UFO's and biographies). i have CFIDS/Fibromyalgia and i can't read as much as i used to. A year
ago i could put away 3 books a week easily. Now i am lucky to read one book every three weeks. My husband is an avid reader, but he reads fiction (Lehane, Cornwell, Rice, etc). His favorite author is Vonnegut. My favorite novel is 1984 by Orwell. My current
favorite author is Whitley Strieber, followed closely by Graham Hancock.
My son is a programmer and he reads technical stuff i have no hope of ever understanding. He also collects and restores old tv's and radios...anything that had vacuum tubes. He's 17 and stuck in the 1950's and 1960's. He's a great kid.
My "pet" prairie dog loves library books. He sniffs tham all up and down. His favorite author/poet is ee cummings. i know it's his favorite because he took a big bite out of a $50 library book. He was angry with me that day for telling him to stay out of the kitchen. He actually understands the words "NO! Library book!" He's a spoiled rotten little puppy.
