My home is perfect for couples, singles, creative people, managers, culture-addicts, subway- fans and Berlin-lovers.
A charming city-apartment in an original GDR living complex- probably Berlin’s most central apartment.
I love my place, but I’m rarely at home. Bad for me. But good for you!
Feeling at home
I offer you my own little place, in which I live and love. No sterile furnishing, everything is thoghtfully chosen. You can use my TV , W-Lan*, DVD-Player, my kitchen, my fridge and my washing machine*- iron and iron-board included. Make yourself at home, don’t
feel like being a guest. The apartment is small, but higher in quality than a lot of good hotels in town: only high-graded material and therefore even right for allergic people or hygiene- fanatics (the floor for example is made of skin-friendly quality-cork
and the kitchen is new and modern). My furniture is a good mixture of pieces from the Bauhaus period to midcentury classics (eames chair, lamp from Poul Hennigsen, table from Egon Eiermann (Berliner Designer!) and last but not least: IKEA – everything put
together with love! No plastic or other to plastic comparable stuff. I would even cuddle with my beloved furniture..;-)
Great balcony
with foot- and skinfriendly canadian woodenfloor, perfect for sun lovers and tanning fans, smokers or barbecue fans ( if needed you can borrow my grill).
Comfortable and relaxed sleep
Great and uninterrupted sleep because of the window, which is located on the back of the house facing the quiet court yard. A lot of space on my sleeping-couch; probably the most comfortable one on the market (Beddingefrom IKEA, undefeated for 20 years). The
mattress on the couch is of high quality- ideal for a everyday use (ask my girlfriend!)
Nice neighborhood
Above my apartment lives a nice conductor, beneath a friendly interpreter with a cute poodle and on the first floor an artist whose paintings are showed in a lot of galleries in the Friedrichstraße.
More central than central
My apartment is directly in front of the subway station „Stadtmitte, which is the most central point in the city.
Location
People who live here don’t need a car or don’t have to take a cab. Two different subway lines (U2, U6) and the bus M48 take you everywhere in Berlin in about 30 minutes, day and night.
2 min to the Potsdamer Platz ( where you get the best ice cream in town at „Gelato“)
5 min to the Friedrichstraße ( where a grocery store is open until 10 pm from monday until sunday)
13 min to the Ku’Damm
25 min to the ICC/fair
36 min to the Olympiastadion
42 min to Potsdam
( source: www.bvg.de)
Infront of the door
Grocery stores Kaisers, Spar and Schlecker (drugstore) and Starbucks ( perfect place to meet or to get to know people), dry cleaning, shoemaker, car rental Sixt and Enterprise and several banks

15 min to the museum island (Pergamon which exibits one of the wonder of the world), Jewish Museum
from the Berliner architect Daniel Libeskind (Ground Zero, NY) Potsdamer Platz, Komische Oper
Restaurants on foot
5 min to the worldwide known Newton Bar
10 min to the high society restaurant Borchard and the Gourmetrestaurant Bocca Di Bacco
Nightlife on foot
5 min to the Shark Club ( for womanizer with money)
7 min to the Cookies Club ( the place to go in Berlin)
15 min to the Felix Club/Adlon Hotel
Architecture on foot
2 min to the fantastic buildings of Aldo Rossi
5 min to the Gallery Lafayette from Jean Nouvel, Checkpoint Charlie/ open air exibition of the wall
(admission free), GSW- skyscraper / high-rise-building (the most narrow building in Germany) from Sauerbruch-Hütten.
I love Berlin and I hope that I can contribute to the fact that you will love it as much as I do!
Be my guest, my home is yours!
