Extended Profile
I love to read, but I also love to buy books. It's a bit of a vice with me - I can't go past a booksale or a second-hand shop without indulging, and now I have a whole bookcase full of books I've yet to read (not to mention the ones laying on the floor
or propped along the top!) So it's currently my mission to make a sizable dent in my Mount TBR. I'd say that probably about a third of the books I might end up keeping if I really love them or want them for later reference, but the majority are what I consider
the literary equivalent of junk food, so out they go. If you see something listed that you think you might like, please let me know and I'll do my best to get it to you. After the books have been listed for three months, I plan to leave them places in proper
bookcrossing style.
When I'm trying to describe a book's condition, I'll use the terms "read", "well read" and "very well read" - these are my definitions:
"Read" = still in good condition, but with minor spine creasing, maybe a few dogears or creases on the cover.
"Well Read" = has had a few owners, maybe a bit of rough treatment, so more creasing, maybe some age staining of the pages.
"Very Well Read" = old, battered, age-stained, possibly marks or rips on the cover - so no oil painting, but it'll still be readable.
