Extended Profile
I have always been an avid reader, mostly sci-fi and fantasy, with a little mystery and horror thrown in on occasion. I mostly stick to Star Wars and Star Trek, but will read anything by Stephen King or Lynda S. Robinson as well. I finally made myself
read The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings trilogy (and NOT just because the movies were coming out), and have managed to get myself hooked into THAT genre as well, so I will probably NEVER be without a wish list.
I have worked for the last 3 years at the Peoria Production Shop as a customer service & purchasing agent. We are a self-supporting, non-profit workshop for disabled adults, and I can honestly say that it's the most rewarding job I've ever had, and I hope to be there for a LONG time.
I have a hard time letting go of a lot of my books, but if I haven't gotten around to setting something on my bookshelf free, I'd certainly be willing to let it VISIT another book-lover!
