I am an author/joiner (of words and wood) who lives in Diamond Creek with my family plus two dogs, three chooks and a duck. My first book (Rhino Chasers, Allen & Unwin, 2002) was about what happens when three young guys take off on a surfari across the foot of Australia in an aging Kingswood station wagon. The next book (to be published by Allen & Unwin in 2004) follows the lead character, Goog, as he surfs and sleuths his way up the Indonesian archipelago in search of his missing friend.

I am passionate about books and all things connected with them and think that this site/organisation is a brilliant idea. I can't wait to set my first book free and track its progress/
