Extended Profile
I am a native North Carolinian, married with one grown child.
Reading and writing and music are all my loves, and they do compete for each other's time! I am disabiled but I still manage to occassionally write magazine articles, short stories, poetry, both traditional and Haiku, and I have been working on a novel for the past 9 years.
I play the piano and guitar and enjoy writing songs as the lyrics often stem from poetry I have written, or conversely, lyrics I write may end up dropping their chorus to become a poem.
Having lived a very full life, and having done almost everything I've ever wanted to do [I'm still waiting for my trip to Europe!] I hope that one day I will have some valuable and interesting stories to tell my son, and hopefully, grandchildren.
