For the most part, I have suspended my bookcrossing activities. I still think it's a great site, but I am mostly buying books on my e-reader now, and will no longer be registering or releasing books.
---------------------------------------------------------------

Note: My bookshelf is not reflective of my reading style. It includes a lot of books that have been given to me by other generous bookcrossers and friends.

2011 Wish list:
(1) Wish list books!
(2) Labels and stickers for bookcrossing (from the BC store or homemade); I especially like those "tiny" Bally stickers!
(3) bookmarks (store bought, homemade, or even the free kind you get at libraries and bookstores)
(4) postcards
(5) "fairy" stuff....I like fairies, especially bookmarks, cards, and postcards.
(6) "unusual" water globes
(7) A dollar each from a million people. ;-)

Hello! Welcome to bookcrossing.com. Thank you for taking time to look at my bookshelf. I am a bookcrosser for the sole purpose of sharing my joy of reading. The only other fact I wish to say about myself is that I am a Christian. God and my family are most important to me. That does not mean I am perfect, by any means. As a matter of fact, the Lord is still working on me! The most important thing anyone can every do is to accept Christ as Savior, and the most important and wonderful Book that a person can ever read is the Bible. Because my faith is important to me, I want to share it. I usually do this by sending Christmas bookmarks or postcards with the books I send to people. I know of at least one bookcrosser who has gotten offended by this, but of course I don't mean to offend, only to share a beautiful truth.

All that being said, I enjoy a variety of genres, but I'm pretty picky about what I read. I've gotten even more so since I've had to rid myself of a LOT of books due to moving to a smaller place. I just don't want to pile a bunch of books on the shelf that I'm really not going to read.

Because I have more books than time, my TBR list is quite long. That's why I like to do bookrays and bookrings....they encourage me to get the book read faster. :-)

If you have found one of my books, I hope that you will take time to look around the BookCrossing website; it's pretty cool. I also hope that you will join as a member, and that you will list me as your referral.

Thanks, and happy reading!

I have participated in so many RABCKS, rings, and rays that I finally stopped keeping count, but I enjoy them all, and really do try to keep my promises and obligations.
