I am NOMAN and EVERYMAN. I hide and I seek. I am an eclectic reader who will pick something up and read it cover to cover, be it a book or magazine. I will read it all, including the advertising, whether or not I am interested in the item. It is a drill in discipline that has served me well over the years. My speed and retention rate have increased greatly, and I have picked up an immense amount of information that I have successfully utilized at one time or another. I love the likes of Jeffery Deever, John Sanford, James Patterson, Michael Connelly, Raymond Chandler, Damon Runyon, Robert B. Parker (I think I closely emulate the Spenser character, he too, finds himself amusing. After all, I am my own best friend!). From Tolstoy to Tolkien( my favorite), Shakespeare to Buckminster Fuller, National Geographic to Smithsonian Magazine. I love murder mysteries, cop and fireman novels, Fantasy, Science Fiction, H.P. Lovecraft, August Derlith, Edgar Allen Poe. Large pulp type illustrated "Big Book Of...", anything esoteric, Herman Hesse, Jonathan Swift, and so forth, ad nauseum... As you can tell I love to read and I think Bookcrossing is the Cat's Meow! I love music. I play the guitar and sing, and have performed in public over the years. I also play chess, enjoy bar puzzles, and love a good treasure hunt. I am very logical, with just a little emotion hidden in there.
