I'm hesitant to capture any more books (but I had a great time catching Lance Armstrong's IT'S NOT ABOUT THE BIKE, which a witty fellow BXer left on a bench near the Elmhurst Prairie Path, which is mainly used as a bike path).
My exchange interests remain:
-history (US, England, France, Ireland)
-"chick-lit" at Merrill Markoe quality or above--'though the SHOPAHOLIC books made me laugh out loud, as did Allison Pearson's I DON'T KNOW HOW SHE DOES IT
-children's literature and great OLD kid lit
-epistolary anything, preferably non-fiction unless it's amazing fiction
-great travel writing
-books about how to turn a house into a home (color studies, light, texture)
-gardening books for Illinois soil and weather
-absolutely anything having to do with tea, scones, pastries, high tea
BookCrossing is a most excellent adventure.
