I read, therefore I am. And what I am is notoriously bad at getting rid of books, so hopefully BookCrossing will at least encourage me to get rid of some of the doubles I've been hoarding (what do you mean there's no point in having two copies of this book? But it's such a good book!).

Also note that though I enjoy seeing books travel, if you pick up one of "my babies" and wish to make it part of your permanent collection, feel free to do so, I have a vast library myself and entirely sympathise with the urge to amass books - though I'd appreciate a journal entry to that effect.
