Extended Profile
I have always been an avid reader and own thousands of books of all types. Most of them have been purchased second-hand, passed on by friends, or bought at a bargain price. When read, I may keep them (eg my collection of William books by Richmal Crompton)
but usually pass them on to friends or charity shops.
I have always been able to read several books at once, ie one in the bathroom, one in the kitchen, one in the bedroom, and one in my bag for if I have time to kill when I'm out and about.
I am retired now and am hoping to get them all read before it's too late - but I keep buying more so I'm not making much progress!
I think it's a great idea to release books into the wild and hopefully track their progress. I'm about to register my first - readers in the Rochdale area of the UK, stand by!
