i have an ongoing love affair with books. i got this from my grandmother horne. she loved to read anything, but her passion was romances. grandpa either wouldn't or she would'nt purchase books. so instead she had the ladies home journal. all of my family has a passion for books. you name it, we read it. book are my hobby.

books had helped me with my wonderlust. i can go anywhere, forwards or backwards, do anything from slaying dragons, to building/maintaining my castle. books keep me company when i'm alone, keep me out of trouble, although there have been times when reading has gotten me into some hot water a job or two.

i can read a book a day, or take a week. i am never without a book. i get panicy without a book in hand. usually i have a book started at home, one i take with me, and usually a book on tape for the car and my walks. i also keep a file on books i have read, want to read, ones i have kept. rite now i have about 200 books on my shelves to read, (getting prepared for my retirement/old age), and about 1000 in the attic that i just can't part with.

finding a book and setting one free is satisfing both the romantic and the adverturer inside of me.
