Extended Profile
I have been a full time professional writer since leaving University in 1963, and have published over 35 books - novels, and short story collections, autobiography and some children`s books - when my own children were young.
I am also a small publisher (non-fiction.)
I live in a farmhouse in rural Gloucestersire and am married to the Shakespeare scholar Stanley Wells.Wwe have two daughters, three dogs, one cat, several; horses and a barn owl in our barn.
I have never stopped reading books since I was 4 and always want to share them with others.
