Extended Profile
My name is Debbie Robson and I am the author of Tomaree, a WWII love story set in Port Stephens, New South Wales, Australia and Crossing Paths: the BookCrossing novel inspired by that wonderful website www.bookcrossing.com. I am a booklover, bookcrosser
and firm believer in synchronicity. There is no such thing as coincidence!
I am on the hunt for an agent/publisher for my novel set in Mayfield 1920 with the working title of I Remember the White and for my new manuscript with the working title of Paris Next Week, the first in a trilogy about a crossover character from my novel Tomaree.
Well, Crossing Paths all started December 2003 when I discovered the BC site and thought wow this would make a great novel and now I really want other BookCrossers to read and enjoy it. See more details further down on my bookshelf regarding all those BookCrossers who helped me with research points whilst I was writing the book between 2004 and 2006.
Here is a short blurb for Crossing Paths:
"When one young Australian woman crosses the path of seven strangers their lives will be never be the same again. It begins for all of them in simple ways: watching a young woman cross a street; picking up a book left on a table; posting out The Little Prince to a fellow reader in Canada. But for each of them the prophecies of one character and the mysterious past of another will bind them all together."
I'm very excited about the novel and would like to thank all the people that have helped me on the way with journal entries and release locations: apapsa, minerswifebb, TexasWren, ecoboy, Xana, dawni, summerbreeze, Lady-B, talkland, Earthdance, mississippimom, Penzy, ottawabill, deenbat, Tooie, silentmiaouw, Greenknowe.
