Extended Profile
I have loved reading since I was really young, devouring Enid Blytons, Trixie Beldon and the like. I have never broken myself of the bad habit of glomming myself to death (ie finding an author I like and reading EVERYthing I can find by him/her and promptly
overdosing).
For a time I wanted to be a librarian, I love book shops, particularly second hand bookshops and bookfairs. I love reading all sorts of books although I have a somewhat irrational hatred for "worthy", "earnest" novels which seem to dominate the bestseller lists.....
Why do I like bookcrossing? I like the idea of sharing, I like the idea of someone else reading a book that I have released or liked. So many people think that it's strange to want to give away something - but I can't think of anything more wonderful to share than a book.
I see that the number of releases in Beijing is almost zero. Hopefully I can change that!
