*2020-2022 can best be described with this line:

"It was the best of times, it was the worst of times..."

This year has been a rollercoaster ride of emotions, and it has definitely played a number on people's mental health. Please be well, know that you are not alone and if you need/crave some human contact, reach out to someone... Don't let loneliness overtake you. {I'm not a really good, chatty friend, but I'm here if you need someone}

"We only have so many tomorrows..." A Month of Tomorrows by Chuck Walsh
(updated October 10, 2020)

Any book you receive from me is yours to do as you wish :)

Southernfryed and I go around Lexington/Columbia filling up Little free Libraries so in the last year or so I have acquired quite a few books that are for releasing and do not reflect my personal taste.

Please journal any book you receive from me - I know life gets in the way, but better late than never

I love the Celtic/Irish lore and I wear a pair of silver Witches Knot earrings given to me by Hubby. I also wear a Claddagh ring on my right hand. They look so lovely especially in Silver or white gold.

I work for a Non Profit Community Health Center in Columbia, SC. Eau Claire Cooperative Health Centers (This is a link to a website on the World Wide Web.)

I love to read and have a wide variety of books. I read English and Spanish--( more English than Spanish, though) Prefer the Historical, time travel, sci-fi, romance, Mystery-Thriller genres but will read just about anything as long as it is good. If I can't get into it by the first 3-5 pages I know I won't read at all.
Some of my favorite Authors: Nora Roberts/J.D. Robb, Catherine Coulter, Lee Child, Jayne Ann Krentz/Amanda Quick, Lynn Kurland, Tami Hoag, Bertrice Smalls & Mary Canon. Like to read Carla Neggars, Linda Castillo, Patricia Cornwall, Dennis McKiernan, Julie Garwood, etc.

For exchanges, wishlist or RABCK I am pretty much open to all genres EXCEPT....

I do not like Horror or Vampires stories/books, but otherwise am easy to please.

As I mentioned above I do like Romance, History, Time-travel, fantasy, mystery, thrillers and most Sci-Fi's.
A surprise book would never go wrong, I just don't like Vampire or Horror stories (can't say that enough, LOL)
I would love to get a postcard/souvenir from other countries. ( you can pm for my address.)
Wings (MemberPlus) for a month are always a nice surprise...
Wings for a month for another member of the BC Community is a Fun and rewarding surprise... or grant them a wish! (and tell me about it)
I love flowers and nature and my favorite colors are green and PURPLE :)

***Like all chocolates-- especially with almonds or coconut. NOT A GOOD IDEA TO SEND BETWEEN JUNE-AUGUST...IT'S TOO HOT AND THEY MELT :)

I love Coffee and Teas- I especially like Earl Grey and black teas, Chamomile, Lemon Ginger and Lavender.
I love bookmarks, and hand crafts.
Like I said... I'm pretty easy to please, after all it's the thought that counts.

“If you have a chance to accomplish something that will make things better for people coming behind you, and you don’t do that, you are wasting your time on this earth." - Roberto Clemente Walker, 1971

I am still trying to update my availables list... I seem to have quite a few books :)
If anyone is interested in any of my availables as a trade, swap or exchange by all means PM me.

(Sorry but I do prefer to mail paperbacks only- if at all- for Internationals as the shipping rate is a bit high...)

my wishlist is up to date as of September 23, 2022.
Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep

I just want to say that I have supported and asked for donations to the Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep foundation because a co-worker was a volunteer photographer and I thought it a wonderful idea (the photos of these babies for the family). 2 years ago on September 10th (2020) my niece lost her 3rd son- stillbirth- and we requested the NILMDTS Volunteer photographer. As my niece says these pictures are the ONLY (tangible) thing she has of her boy. The photographer did such a beautiful job. So from my family- Thank you for your donation.
