I'm in my curmudgeon years and a bit of a hermit, (OK, crazy cat lady probably applies, too.) I am finding this time of life to be a lot more fun than all those ads for incontinence products would lead you to believe. In fact, I have often consoled myself
with the thought that whatever else happens to me, I will never have to go to high school again.
I am often amazed how the anonymity of the internet seems to allow people to say absolutely horrible things that they would never say if they were face to face with another human being. The opposite and beautiful side of that coin is that I have met some of the nicest people on "crossing" sites whom I probably would not meet otherwise.
Here's to all the kind strangers in the world and the pleasure of finding them (and their books.)
