Extended Profile
I'm a volunteer helper at the Katharine House Hospice Shop, Banbury Road, Brackley. We have fantastic book bargains there - fiction, non-fiction and children's - but it's disappointing that so few people come into the shop to find them. I'm experimenting
with setting up a Bookcrossing Zone in the shop - do come and have a look, and also see the other wonderful books in stock. Booker winners, reading-group favourites, chick-lit, classics, biographies, TV tie-ins, cookery books, sport, reference books, esoteric
oddities - we've got the lot. Besides supporting a good cause, and supplying yourself with reading, charity shops are a great way of acquiring books for 50p or £1, so that you don't mind releasing them "into the wild" when you've read them.
