For five years, I've been an enthusiastic supporter of BookCrossing. I've enjoyed the community here and basked vicariously in the pleasure that others like myself find in reading and sharing books. Since the change to the new site, my time here is too heavily mingled with frustration and vexation. So unless and until the major problems are fixed, I'm no longer participating in the BookCrossing side of BookCrossing.com. You'll still see me over on the Book Talk forum (most especially in the SIY thread), but no more registering, no more releasing, no more RABCKing, no more BC bookrings, and no more journalling (unless I happen to come across or finish reading a BC book--I'll not punish other BCers by failing to journal their books).
