Extended Profile
I've been a newspaperman since I started writing for the Anchorage Daily News as a junior in high school, and I've been intimately involved with words and language ever since. No gift thrills me more than a friend's introduction to a good book I might
never have found otherwise. I love the idea that BookCrossings can help extend that thrill to untold strangers.
My bio is on my website: www.howard.weaver.org. Basic facts: born in Anchorage, married to Barbara Hodgin since 1978, no kids, two great dogs. We hike, bike, travel, read, watch baseball and enjoy friends. After many winters in Alaska we now enjoy the Northern California climate and the chance to explore new horizons.
