Born in 1947, reading since the Korean War/Ike's first campaign;
almost compulsive, y'know? Anything that requires sitting for more
than a few minutes usually involves a book, too. Work was getting
in the way - thank the Goddess I'm retired now! But now the fly
in the ointment is the "Honey-Do" list! Actually, if not for that and
the temporary jobs I've had, I'd have gone through the local library
and/or have gone blind by now.

Married since 1975; my wife's in the education field, our newly
college-grad daughter's looking for her first job. Read "The Hobbit"
to her when she was a wee lass, and got her hooked, too. May
there be innumerable blessings for the likes of those cuneiformic
scamps, the Sumerians, and Gutenberg and all his descendants,
for the joy we all experience each day, with each book!
