I am a writer, translator and writing workshop teacher living in France. A lover of books of course. I travel a great deal with my photographer husband and of course can never take enough books for the journey, and so part of the pleasure is finding books along the way, left by other travelers in guesthomes and hotels. I've discovered many interesting books I might not have read that way. I've also left books myself along the road once read. I'm not on the road right now, but my bookshelves here are over-flowing, and so I've decided to release some of the books "into the wild." I have to confess however that the books I choose to release are not my very VERY favorites--those have to stay on my shelves as I reread the very best ones over and over.
What will be interesting here is that I am sending mostly English books out into the wild here in France. But many tourists pass through--so hope they'll find readers.
