Extended Profile
So many books - so little time! my motto year to year
Work on TBR pile, read a book a week, and limit library visits to help accomplish! This goal keeps following me and the pile keeps getting bigger...
Still not interested in a Kindle or Nook until the book pile is gone!
Darn those library book sales - how can you resist the bargain prices!
Discovered Little Free Libraries. FREE books!
I enjoy historical fiction novels that follow people/families over time, but give you an idea of what is going on in the world during that era. Joined a book club so my reading circle has expanded depending on what we choose to read. Always enjoy a good mystery/thriller and started to get into cozy mysteries and some local locations/authors. Don't necessarily read the newest and most current bestsellers.
Other leisure activities include making cards and bookmarks with my extensive rubber stamp and paper collection, knitting, walking, and group exercise classes.
Winter reading involves a hot cup of tea and a soft blanket. Love summer reading on the deck with ice cream and lemonade breaks!
