Okay...so I've been a member here for over a year now & I still love it as much as I did in the beginning. I can’t believe I’m going to say the following, but I don’t think I’m addicted any longer...guess we’ll see how that
pans out...nevertheless I am a whole lot less "addicted" than I used to be -- I believe that is a good thing!! When I last checked in here my TBR pile was sitting around 70, but in the last 5 months I guess you could say it has grown. It is now near 120, but
only around 50 of them are books that I’ve received from other BX’ers…my goal is to read all of those first, before I get around to the ones that I have bought for myself...and except for the very rare straying, I seem to be keeping on the road toward that
goal. It would be nice to see the size of Mt. TBR shrink a little bit...stranger things have happened!! For anybody that might have been paying attention, you might have noticed that I have not been all that active around the site lately. With my goal being
to get through the books that have already been passed on to me, I’ve discovered the easiest way to not accumulate more books is to keep my mouth shut...not easy, but it’s working!! Not that I intend to be rude if somebody asks to send me a book...that would
just be wrong, but if I just shut up it seems that the offers start to have a little bit more space between them. I’m not worried though, I know that all the books I want to read will still be around once I’ve finished the pile I’m currently working on!! I've
also been keeping kind of quiet in the offering of books...this is mostly because funds are not flowing all that freely lately. I really enjoy passing books on without a cost to others & it is hard for me to not be able to do this as much as I would like to.
So, basically it is a matter of sucking up my pride & asking for postage...I’m trying...and someday I hope to be able to mail more steadily once again. Mostly, because I need to pass on the kindness that so many of you have showed to me. I really do love this
site & the people that I’ve met here!! I’m part of a Meet-Up group that considers ourselves a “fringe Meet-Up group”, if I can borrow the terminology of RlyLv2Rd. We have a great time when we get together; so much fun it is sometimes scary!! :o) After all
of this rambling I believe it is time to say, “That’s all for now, folks!!” I will leave you on the following note: I love to get messages from fellow BookCrossers!! I hope to be hearing from you!! :o)

A Prayer for My Day
Dear God,
So far today, I've done all right. I have
not gossiped or lost my temper. I have
not been greedy, grumpy, nasty, selfish,
or over-indulgent. I'm very thankful for that.
But, in a few minutes, God, I'm getting out
of bed, and from then on I am probably
going to need a lot more help.
Amen

THE WAY TO HAPPINESS
Keep your heart free from hate, your mind from worry. Live simply. Expect little. Give much. Fill your life with love. Scatter sunshine. Forget self - think of others. Do as you would be done by. Try this for a week and you will
be surprised.
