Extended Profile
I am married with 5 children aged 17 - 6 years old and have been transplanted to the USA! For the past eight years I have lived in Kansas and recently moved to beautiful Washington. My dear Mum introduced me to how much fun can come from reading books
and I started with "The Magnificent Seven" written by Enid Blyton. It was a favourite of hers when she was small.
Now I read many different kinds of books. The Bible is my daily read and I am still learning so much about it's contents that it will be a lifetime project. Other reads have been by Danielle Steele, and I occasionally step into the world of Sci-fi. I also like books of inspiration and books that will teach me things about the past.
I have been very busy building my own business for the past five years and have not had much time for anything, let alone reading. Now I am a stay at home Mum and enjoying more time to myself and I intend on getting into books seriously.
I enjoy reading books I read as a child and that my children are reading now. I feel I might "get the authors intent" now as an adult. Two such books are To Kill a Mocking Bird and the series of the Lion, Witch and Wardrobe - my son of 12 is asking me to read those now. To escape into the literary world is a blessing we all take for granted and I hope I will leave books that will spark somebody to search for more intrigue from the world our authors have to offer. I also hope to write my own book someday - watch this spot!
