I have been an avid reader since age 4 when I began by reading "The Bobbsey Twins at Lighthouse Point" which I found in my grandmother's house. I am an active member of a very eclectic book club where we read everything from Austen to Woolf. I counsel children after the death of a family member and have learned that books are a wonderful bridge to difficult conversations. I am the mother of a 16 year old, partner to a Peter Pan sixty year old, companion to an Australian Terrier and a Painted turtle. Walking, yoga and meditation keep me sane. Travel keeps me connected to the larger world and Mystic keeps me connected to a neighborhood.
