I've always loved reading and although my life is a little bit busier these days with 2 young boys, I'm now making it a point to find the time to read everyday.

The first books I remember really making an impression on me were Wuthering Heights and a copy of a book by Phyllis A Whitney that I found in a second hand store. I can't remember which one. I particularly love books that will transport me somewhere else. My favourites are historical fiction, mysteries, and some fantasy.

My favourite authors are George R R Martin, Guy Gavriel Kay, Caleb Carr, Minette Walters, Ian Rankin, and Anita Shreve.
