A little about me:
Of course, I love to read and I can't imagine the world without books! I love to release childrens books in the park with the hope that it will encourage a child to read - I'm partial to Winnie-the-Pooh stories. But my favorite genre is mystery and my favorite mysteries are British and on the cozy side but I do read a variety of books. Like many folks here, the books on my shelf do not necessarily reflect my own taste since I pick up a lot of books to give to others.

I love animals. When I'm not reading I volunteer at a local cat rescue shelter as well as an equine therapy center and try to do some exercising, gardening and art in my spare time. I also love to travel and wish I had more time and money to see the world.
