Extended Profile
Official BookCrossing Zone at the Church Media Center, an ecumenical resource center sponsored by the Episcopal Diocese of NH and the NH Conference of the United Church of Christ.
Since the OBCZ is located at a religious library, many of the titles available are religious in nature. In fact, the idea for this location arose in response to the question "what happens to books we no longer need in the collection?"
However, please don't think that all titles have to be pious or must have something to do with the church. The zone is maintained by librarymousie, who reads novels of all sorts, and is visited by bookcrossers located in the Concord, NH area, as well as by Christian educators, priests, and pastors.
The OBCZ is in the Media Center, behind the pamphlet rack, on the counter by the vertical file. Please stop by--you'll be glad you did!
Check Out Our Bookshelf!
Anything available should be right here at the OBCZ. If you're interested in a particular title, please PM first so that I can check and make sure it's still here before you journey out to visit us.
If you are requesting the OBCZ send you an available title, please be advised that we ask postage in exchange for books sent. Postage costs are rounded up to the nearest number of 39-cent stamps [ie: Media Mail to send a small book is $1.59, so we request five 39-cent stamps]. We have chosen to round up in this way for two reasons: to take into account the cost of packing materials and travel to post office.
Location
140 Sheep Davis Road, Pembroke, NH 03275-3711
Hours of Operation
9:00-4:00, Monday-Friday
