I would still like to get a local Bookcrossing Meet going..so if anyone is interested to meet, talk about books, swap, release then please PM me.

Happy New Year to all those lovely bookcrossers I have met and hope yet to meet for your generosity, love of books and spirit of fun and adventure.

Had a struggle to read last year but already getting back into a more usual reading mode this year.
I need to do a thorough check of books on my shelf as some releases may not have been recorded whilst my computer was down.
I have two bookcases of books I am planning to try and empty:-) I will check for RABCKS then wild release or give to charity shops which accept Bookcrossing books.
I have only had one wild released book logged so far:-(

All the people on my 'friends list' are people I have met on rings or rays, or swapped books with. It is a way to remind me and also I joined BC to meet readers from around the world so it is nice to see how I am doing..bit weak on the non UK so far but..I hope to improve that.

Rounding up 2008

The other 10 are in no particular order..and out of a 106 I read in 2008 it seems a lot of my top ten have something to to do with BCUK so

Quote of the moment

"The evening was stretching itself. The day's muscle had begun to relax."

"A cat is an idea of freedom made flesh"

"But what could be odder than the way books which chime with one's condition or stage in life insinuate themselves into one's hand?

Some of TBR are without many notes as I will do that once read..some of these might be available if someone particularly wants to read one.
All 'available' are available just ask, happy to trade. PC are also poss available in right circumstances.
