Extended Profile
I'm an 'all or nothing' type person, I've either read a book every day for a while, or not read for ages. I love the idea of Bookcrossing though, the idea that one might cheer up a total strangers day really appeals to me. I'm still a bit unsure if I'm
doing things correctly, but since I'm not harming anyone I'll just plod along, learning, I hope, as I go along.
My other interests include gardening, making things, preferably from bits of old rubbish and stuff people throwaway and the odd (and it's always odd when I've finished) bit of DIY.
I live with my eccentric, aged cat Zelda and border collie x springer spaniel cross Josh.
My technical/computer/IT skills are precisely nil, so I can't post photos or do any fancy stuff and if I do something really bizarre it's probably because I don't know what I'm doing. If I ever learn I will try to post some photos etc.
I'm particularly interested in asbestos and the asbestos industry, but books on this subject tend to be very expensive. If anybody has any books on this subject, I'd love to read and return them and am more than willing to pay the postage.
