My long-suffering husband called me to the television recently to see the story from CBC Ottawa this evening (I was reading).

The more places to find new books the better and being able to share sounds wonderful. I am very excited. I am not, however, like one of the Bookcrossers interviewed who said she nevers read a book twice. I read many books twice, three ... twenty times. I have favourites in paperback that I have had to replace when they fall apart. I have been known to buy vintage hardcovers to replace a modern paperback edition. I read in all genres although I don't read much science fiction.

As for myself, I am originally from Halifax, Nova Scotia and moved to Ottawa nearly three years ago. We have two children, a dog and a cat and I read all the time. My children answer the question "where's your mother" by "Mummy's reading" -- even if I'm not!!
